I hope everyone reading this has had a wonderful holiday season and had some time to enjoy life and have a rest from the daily grind! As we bid farewell to the festivities, it's time to gear up for what lies ahead, especially for those at Toronto City Hall – we are officially entering Budget Season!

With the dawn of the new year, anticipate an influx of fresh ideas and I expect some very spirited debates. Considering the city's obligation to ratify the budget by Valentine's Day, time is of the essence! As we embark on this week, the city is back in full swing, ready to tackle the important task at hand.
