Budget Town Halls and Meetings Dates and Times
Good evening everyone,
As I mentioned last week, I just want to post a quick reminder of how you can have your say this week on what you think of the Toronto City Council 2023 Budget.
Monday January 16th - Etobicoke Civic Centre 399 The West Mall
Councillors Amber Morely and Stephen Holyday will be holding a Budget Town Hall in the council chambers from 6:30pm to 8pm. They will also have in attendance Stephen Conforti who is the Executive Director, Financial Planning City of Toronto.
Wednesday January 18th - Etobicoke Civic Centre 399 The West Mall
The public is invited to provide thoughts and concerns to the budget committee in either the afternoon from 1:30pm to 4:30pm or from 6pm-9pm.
To be able to have your say you must register by email at buc@toronto.ca or calling 416-392-4666 by 4:30pm MONDAY AFTERNOON (Jan 16). In the email please specify if you will be doing so in person or virtually via an internet link. Normally you are given 5 minutes to speak.
Before January 24 at 4:30pm - Email a Written Submission
If you would prefer to provide your thoughts and concerns in a written submission you can email it buc@toronto.ca and at the same time you may want to consider including emailing it to your own Councillor and Mayor Tory. If you are sending an email try and submit by Jan 23rd as that way the written submission will reach the committee before its last meeting.
