Help Silverthorn C.I. Students Make a Difference – Support Relay for Life

On May 23, 2024, students at Silverthorn Collegiate Institute will once again take to the track for Relay for Life, a powerful event in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. This student-led initiative raises funds to support cancer research, patient services, and advocacy — and it’s also a powerful day of reflection, action, and hope.
Last time the event was held in 2023, the SCI community raised thousands of dollars to help in the fight against cancer. This year, they’re aiming even higher — and they need our help.

Local businesses: Consider donating or sponsoring the event — financial support, gift cards, or snacks for participants all make a difference.
Families & residents: Every dollar counts! Whether you're connected to the school or just believe in the cause, donations of any size are welcomed and appreciated.
Spread the word: Share the event page with your networks and help amplify the students' efforts.
Cancer has touched so many lives in Etobicoke. Let’s come together as a community and support these young people who are choosing to take action and give back.
