501 Queen Streetcars Returning to Service West of Roncesvalles
The TTC is restoring 501 Queen streetcar service west of Roncesvalles Ave to Humber Loop starting this Sunday, October 29. This will be the first time since January 2021 that streetcars will run on The Queensway. It’s been a long time coming,
There will be two streetcar routes running:
Starting Sunday October 29, 2023, the 501 Queen streetcar will run between Humber Loop to McCaul Loop downtown all day and evening.
Starting Monday October 30, 2023 the 508 Lakeshore streetcar between Long Branch Loop and Parliament Street via King on weekday rush hours only.
301 Queen Blue Night buses will continue to operate between Long Branch Loop and Neville Park Loop overnight 7 days a week.
501A Queen Streetcar Service Update / 501L bus / 501M bus
Starting October 29, 2023 5am:
501A Queen streetcars will operate between Humber Loop and McCaul Loop.
501L Queen replacement buses will operate between Long Branch Loop and Humber Loop.
New 501M Queen replacement buses will operate between Humber Loop and Lake Shore Boulevard and Marine Parade Drive, via Park Lawn Road.
Transfer between these routes at Humber Loop.

508 Lake Shore – Limited weekday rush hours service returns Monday October 30, 2023
Morning trips are scheduled to operate eastbound only from Long Branch Loop at 6:40 am, 7:10 am, 7:30 am, 7:50 am and 8:10 am, along its usual route downtown via King Street, to Broadview Avenue and Parliament Street.
Afternoon trips are scheduled to operate westbound only from King Station every 20 minutes, from approximately 4:25 pm to 5:45 pm, as indicated on the following map, but only from Parliament Street.

All day 501 regular streetcar service to Long Branch Loop will begin Sunday November 19
The above 501A, 501L, 501M, & 508 services will run to Sunday November 19, 2023. On this date, all day 501 regular streetcar service to Long Branch Loop will commence. It is expected that the 508 Lake Shore limited weekday rush hours service will continue.
Queen Street Construction Downtown for the Ontario Line
Note that downtown there are many streetcar route changes due to Ontario Line construction.
