Just a quick post to let you all know about a picnic happening this coming Sunday (July 9) in Tom Riley Park which is here in Etobicoke near Bloor St. and Islington Ave.
All are invited to join in the event to celebrate the approval of the Bloor Street Complete Streets Project and to thank all those involved over the last two years to see this approval through all the way to last month’s City Council meetings.
The day will have food, speeches, and a lot of fun as community members are able to get together and celebrate all the hard work involved in making more of our local streets safer for everyone; both those on wheels and on foot!

Hello Jennifer, hope to see you on Sunday (Toddler mood pending). Also, not sure if you have been reading about the Centennial Park Master Plan story and pending evictions of the go-karts and batting cages, but the CBC and Star just relased articles on it. Maybe something to look into if you have time!
