Let's Celebrate With "We Belong On Bloor"

Just a quick post to let you all know about a picnic happening this coming Sunday (July 9) in Tom Riley Park which is here in Etobicoke near Bloor St. and Islington Ave.
All are invited to join in the event to celebrate the approval of the Bloor Street Complete Streets Project and to thank all those involved over the last two years to see this approval through all the way to last month’s City Council meetings.
The day will have food, speeches, and a lot of fun as community members are able to get together and celebrate all the hard work involved in making more of our local streets safer for everyone; both those on wheels and on foot!

Hope you all caught the post from a few days ago! I will be preparing some signage later next week to stick up in local bus shelters. It will be in a PDF and so if anyone would like a copy to print to do the same in their area, I will happily share it when its ready!
