Thanks! I'll have a post about this tomorrow because as a community we should have a say, 200 people at one consultation is not enough when many people had no idea this was happening at all. Holyday says these are amusements and my question is what is wrong with that if it keeps our local kids active and out of trouble!
Hope you all caught the post from a few days ago! I will be preparing some signage later next week to stick up in local bus shelters. It will be in a PDF and so if anyone would like a copy to print to do the same in their area, I will happily share it when its ready!
Hi Adam! I totally understand basing plans on Toddler moods, that was my life for many years:)
I actually attended a virtual session about this master plan back in the winter and I was so upset to hear about the plans about the track and cages. I am actually working on this and hopefully will have a proper story on it next week because I know that these are some of the few affordable places left locally for our youth and it would be awful to see them closed. The kicker being that it would become used for many baseball organizations to permit and in the end leaving less room for locals to enjoy who are not part of organized team sports. There is a petition that I saw started recently and you can check that out here https://chng.it/Cxp8y6vS6h Thanks for reaching out and say Hi on Sunday if you make it!
